My name is Rolf. I have just moved into the area and I am looking for opponents to play a wide variety of older and newer board games. I just purchased a couple of new war games and would like to try them out. I am up for any type of game though. Drop me a note if your interested in getting together. I'm Clay,
Kinda local to the area- I've been checking out BoardGameGeek, On Board Games podcast, Board Games with Scott podcast to find out some good stuff. So far I've found a lot! Good to know there is a local store to support.
Games I Play: Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Board Games, Wits&Wagers, BANG!, Jungle Speed
Games I want to Learn: Power Grid, Memoir '44, Puerto Rico

Games I want to play more of: Warhammer 40k and maybe later Warhammer Fantasy (Wife is very interested in those) Gaming Related: Played EQ forever played D&D in the Late 70s and early 80s. Hey everyone  My name is Chris Miller, born and raised in Charlotte - yes, there are a few still left! I've been in and out of gaming for most of my life (more years than I care to admit...) and really got hooked when I saw the first edition of Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader at Dragon's Nest in Charlotte.. ok, now I'm dating myself  I recently decided to get back into some gaming and was searching for where the stores were around Charlotte now. I'm actually moving to the Ft. Mill area in a few months so I'll probably be seeing some of you in person before long. Glad to be here and thanks for having me! |

Breathing life into an old thread, maybe.
Hi! My name is Steve, I'm slightly new to the area. Well, ok not *that* new, I've lived in Rock Hill for a little over a year now, but haven't had the time to actually do any socializing due to work. Hurray for being laid off, finally giving me time to try and be personable. Or something like that. Anyway.
Games I Play: Magic (Haven't had a human opponent since around 5th edition, kinda fell away for a while), D&D (have done a whopping 5 nights of gaming in the past 16 years. Yay for being a recluse), HeroClix
Games I want to Learn: I'd like to learn the above three better, as well as HeroScape, and pretty much anything else. I'm pretty open to new things and love gaming. I'd like to try my hand at miniatures. I've played Battle Masters (aka Diet Warhammer) a lot, and want more!
Gaming Related: Spending my late teens and early 20's as a recluse or in the company of those who aren't into games more complicated than Clue, I played a lot of EverQuest, EQ2, WoW, CoH/CoV, Magic Online and the old Magic PC games.
Oh, and I have a strong love for bathing and not smelling like a foot. So hopefully that's a bonus.
