I'll be there by 6:00 or 6:30 at the latest ready to fight right out of the box.  There are always a number of players there on Tuesday.  Besides, need to keep you from that Magic stuff....  See ya tonight.

Thanks for the great battle last night.  To bad that dragon was there.

That is the breaks!  The good news is that you caused 2 wounds on the lord with a d6 Str 2 spell!!!  That gained us half points if we used the VP standard.  There is not a lot we can do against a dragon.  I think we did VERY well given our elf opponent.  We defeated the phoenix guard and took their standard!  That is not suppose to happen.  Granted we got shot to pieces bu the might of 3 bolt throwers and some archers but that IS suppose to happen!  It worked out.  The fact that our main infantry unit with the warboss and the BSB and shaman fled was a real smack but, hell, they will be back again.  The squigs usually get shot to pieces and the snots die in droves!  Everything went rather well.  The big thing that denied us was the untimely animosity failures by the hoppers and the warboss's unit.  We have to get our units off the table edge quickly as we know we will run and need to have enough room to rally.  The warbosses unit failed on turn 1, couldnt move, and panicked on turn to off the table!!  The squig herd on the left flank failed and it took them out of the game.  The thrid failure was the hoppers not being able to charge and, thus, force the fleeing dragon princes off the table.  That would have been a LOT of VPs for us, but the animosity prevented that and the prices went on to rally and  kill our giant.  If you decided to play Night Goblins pure as we did last night, you have to be willing to take the good with the bad and know that your plans will seldom happen as .... planned!!!  Such is the breaks with the night goblins.  Good game!!
